Roll of the Dice's Cottontail

STORY:

Little Ruby accidentally trapped her Cottontail bunny Hector inside an enchanted Rubik's Cube! Poor Hector's only chance of escaping is the two of them working together, solving mind-bending puzzles that require all the spatial reasoning they can afford. Can you help them out?

CONTROLS:

- Spacebar to switch between playing and rotating mode
- Escape to open up menus / return to the main menu

In playing mode:
- A / Left Arrow and D / Right Arrow to move the bunny
- Z / Backspace to undo the last move
- R to restart the level

In rotating mode:
- Click and drag the screen to rotate the view of the cube
- Click on an arrow indicator to rotate the corresponding face by 90°
- Double click on a face to put it into focus

BACKGROUND / CREDITS:

This game is a collaboration between my girlfriend (game design, artwork, music, sound effects, level design, overall pretty great person) and me (game design, coding, level design, music, additional sound effects, overall pretty okay person I hope). It originated as a 50 hour project during the GMTK game jam 2022 (and you can still download the original version if you wish to, but we were both pretty proud of the result, so we decided to keep working on it. This is still very much a work in progress, but we added a lot of stuff since the jam. Hope you enjoy!
